Simon is a cloud and Internet-industry chief executive, entrepreneur, advisor and board member. He founded Mission in November 2017 to transform managed cloud services and consulting into agile, flexible, pay-as-you-go services that are closely aligned to the value and benefits of the public cloud itself. Simon teamed up with Great Hill Partners as Entrepreneur-in-Residence in March 2017 with a vision to start this next-gen managed cloud services company. Prior to Mission, Simon was CEO of DreamHost, where he scaled the web hosting and cloud computing company to $50M annual revenue and 400,000 customers worldwide. He also co-founded the software-defined storage company Inktank in 2012, which was acquired by Red Hat for $175M in 2014. Simon started his tech career as a venture capital partner with Allen & Buckeridge in Sydney then Silicon Valley. He has earned Science and Law degrees from the Australian National University, and has undertaken executive education programs at Harvard Business School.
Glenn is a pioneer of the managed IT services movement who long championed a transition from a “break-fix” reactive-support mentality to a proactive, results-oriented managed services approach. Glenn founded Boston-based managed services provider G2 Tech Group, a next-generation MSP linking managed DevOps services to cloud computing, which merged into Mission in 2018. Prior to G2, Glenn was the VP of Managed Services for Thrive Networks, where he ushered the firm into the managed services era, transforming the business to a recurring revenue model. Glenn is a member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization, Forbes Technology Council and the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC). He attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has undertaken the Entrepreneurial Masters Program at MIT.
Keith has more than 20 years of diverse experience delivering successful IT solutions at global organizations, both in executive management and management consulting roles. As Chief Cloud Officer at Mission, Keith applies his background in project and program management, technology and people leadership, and tactical and strategic planning to drive business growth. Keith holds a BA degree in Economics from the University of Southern California.
Stewart is an accomplished, results-driven leader with more than 18 years of international experience in finance, accounting and operations. Prior to Mission, he was the CFO & COO of Oblong Industries, a platform company focused on building and delivering disruptive technologies that make collaborative work more interactive, content-rich and immersive. He successfully led and raised $85 million in new equity investment for Oblong and has demonstrated his ability to streamline business operations to drive growth (with control), increase efficiency and reduce cash burn. Prior to Oblong, Stewart was a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche with in-depth audit and M&A experience in the technology and software industries. Stewart is a certified Chartered Accountant and holds a Masters in Accounting (University of Cape Town), Honors in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Financial Accounting (University of KwaZulu-Natal).
Phaedra is an enterprise technology leader experienced in helping guide Fortune 500 organizations to greater levels of connectivity, productivity, and efficiency. Her responsibilities include leading (and growing) Mission’s worldwide professional services and consulting teams. She previously served as Managing Director, Global Delivery and End User Services at NTT DATA Services (formerly Dell Services), where she oversaw the company’s global professional services practices. Phaedra holds a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Andy started his career in marketing in the food service business, and then moved into high tech - working at Apple and Hewlett Packard, before focusing on building start-ups in Silicon Valley. He has held positions in hardware, software, tech services eCommerce, and lead generation having held CMO roles at Cooking.com, Instantly and most recently Survey Sampling International. He's been a part of several exits including one IPO and several acquisitions, and more recently he taught his first marketing class at USC. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
A cloud industry veteran, Jonathan has held several technical and product leadership positions – most recently at DreamHost, one of the largest web hosting and cloud computing providers. As Chief Technology Officer at Mission, Jonathan guides the development of Mission’s product and platform. He also leads business development initiatives, and shares his expertise on current cloud trends and best practices at industry conferences and Mission events. Jonathan has a BS degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Mark is a cloud industry veteran with nearly two decades of marketing and product management experience. He most recently was Product Director at DreamHost, and previously served as Director of Digital Marketing at Media Temple (where he was part of the leadership team during an acquisition by GoDaddy). As Mission’s Vice President of Marketing, Mark leads marketing content and strategy to strengthen Mission’s position in the managed cloud services marketplace. Mark holds an MBA in Finance from Loyola Marymount University.
Caleb has a long track record of scaling infrastructure, teams and processes to both support and drive growth. He previously worked as a software developer, systems administrator, IT manager, and ops guru. He’s known by his colleagues and customers alike as a skilled leader who is able to shape a group of talented people into a cohesive, high performing team that delivers consistent value to clients. Caleb holds a B.S. degree in physics from the University of Massachusetts, and began work on his Ph.D. in geophysics at MIT before shifting gears to focus on IT.
Matt is a former investment banker, with experience in private equity as well as large and small technology companies. Matt started his career in sales, and spent five years at EMC Corporation during its shift to being more software-focused through acquisitions including VMware, Documentum, and RSA. He has also worked in business development at Audax Group, a leading middle market private equity group. Matt holds an MBA from the Carroll School at Boston College and a BA from Middlebury College.
Karoline Saffi leads all aspects of People & Culture across Mission. She drives performance, talent development and acquisition, learning and development, compensation, benefits, and people tools and technologies in addition to overseeing the continuing evolution of the company's culture. A tech industry veteran, she previously served in HR managerial roles at DreamHost and Gimbal before joining Mission In 2017. Since taking the lead of Mission’s People & Culture team, she has continuously implemented a roadmap of progressive initiatives intended to make Mission a company with an inclusive and engaged workforce. Karoline is a graduate of Colorado State University with degrees in business administration and human resources management and holds SHRM-CP and PHR certifications.
Heather leads the accounting and finance team with practical, hands-on experience in both the public and private sector. Her experience represents an array of industries that include e-commerce, energy markets, automotive, multi-site retail and fuel distribution, and high-tech with companies ranging from development stage to companies generating revenues of up to $800 million in revenues. She obtained her accounting degree from Chapman University and is a certified public accountant.
Ted is an experienced software and business executive, responsible for overseeing Mission’s sales and customer success teams, as well as driving revenue growth. Ted comes to Mission from DAZ Systems, where he served as Senior Vice President of Sales and helped steer the company’s growth from a regional Oracle services provider to a leading national firm. Ted also brings extensive sales management experience from his tenures at Oracle and VC backed startups. Ted holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
