Omelet sought assistance streamlining what had been a costly and cumbersome deployment process when it came to pushing out new code and providing creative work for the agency’s clients. In addition to the goals of improving its deployment capabilities and reducing expenses, Omelet also hoped to address reliability issues it had been experiencing with deployments, which caused unfortunate downtime incidents that impacted clients.
“I’ve worked with a variety of hosting companies in the past and Mission – by far – has been the best. My agency typically makes site launches outside of the typical business hours. Mission always make themselves available and are very pleasant to work with. They go the extra mile and make my job easier.”
On Mission’s recommendation, Omelet is now undergoing an AWS Well-Architected Review that will inform the process of redesigning the agency’s environment in a way that best supports future automated deployments. Mission has also introduced Omelet to the advantages of leveraging additional AWS services – such as AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit, and others. By following these recommendations and utilizing these services, Omelet will be able to enjoy a much more streamlined process in which the agency can run deployments at the click of a button, or by using automated hooks.
Omelet is an independent boutique creative agency that works with clients such as AT&T, Microsoft, Ubisoft, and Walmart. Among the agency’s divisions is the Omelet Studio, which creates original content for both brands and its own networks.
